In 1955, the company launched the masterpiece 300S racing car. This racing horse took the lead in the race, never missed, and won the first prize in many international races.

The Maserati 300 S race car incorporated many of the features of the Maserati 250 F, a successful precursor to Formula 1 racing, quickly gaining a reputation as an extremely competitive sports car.
